Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in the age of knights and fair maidens? Have you ever wanted the opportunity to travel back in time to experience it? Well, lucky for you, you don’t have to travel back in time to experience living in 16th century Europe thanks to the Montana Renaissance Faire! The Renaissance Festival will take place at ZooMontana on Saturday, June 6th and Sunday, June 7th. Tickets are now available for this event.When you attend the Montana Renaissance Fair you are in for a unique experience. Enter into the world of knights, ladies, lords, and even fairies. Chivalry and romance will be abound and guests are encouraged to mingle with the various costumed characters that will be scattered throughout the fair such as jesters, wizards, and sword fighters. Explore the marketplace as you listen to storytellers, enjoy the singers and musicians, watch the dancers and more. Delicious food will be served such as turkey legs, steak on a stake, royal Scottish eggs and more. If you’re feeling thirsty, stop by a pub for some ale or get a goblet and try some of the King’s own mead. Another thing to look forward to is the jousting tournament where you will be able to watch armored knights defend their honor until only the winner is left standing. Choose your favorite knight and cheer them on as they battle for glory.ZooMontana is located at 2100 South Shiloh Road Billings, Montana 59106. Stay in a hotel in Downtown Billings, MT to make your commute more convenient. A one day pass to the Renaissance Faire will be $15 and a two day pass is $25. Children 10 and under get in for $5 and you must show proof of age. Tickets for seniors 65 and over with valid ID are $10.
