Every year, the Yellowstone Art Museum holds the Winterfair. This exciting event showcases a beautiful variety of handmade arts and crafts! These art pieces are displayed throughout the museum. The event will feature local artists from around the region so it’s a great way to support local artisans. Additionally, the event will include drinks and live music to entertain guests. The event is held in conjunction with the Downtown Christmas Stroll and the Billings ArtWalk. This year, the event will take place on Friday, December 7th from 4-9pm.
Begun in 1985, The Festival of Trees has nearly become synonymous with Christmas celebrations in Billings. The event is now one of the biggest community activities that takes place during the holidays. The event kicks off on Thursday, November 29th with the gala and tree auction starting at 6:30pm. Continuing into Friday and Saturday, there will be exciting family friendly activities, entertainment, a craft and gift show and so much more! All money that is raised during the festival will go towards programs to help prevent child abuse.
The historic moss mansion located in Billings is an iconic red stoned mansion that was built back in 1903. Throughout the year, the Mansion holds a number of events including the long awaited Christmas Tree Display and Christmas Carols. In each room of the museum, there will be fully decorated Christmas trees that have been decorated by local businesses and charities.
