Beartooth Highway

This highway is actually considered one of the most scenic drives in all of the U.S. The highway consists of 68 miles of winding roads that take your through Montana and Northwest Wyoming. The road actually leads you into Yellowstone National Park’s Northeast entrance. Museums

The Carbon County Historical Society and Museum was established back in 1959 by Alice Greenhough, in order to create a space that would be dedicated to her world renowned rodeo family. The historical society took over the museum in 1974 and it is now the location of not only the Greenough family rodeo collections but also includes the Waples family gun and projectile point collection, a hard rock mind and interactive coal mine exhibit, the Linderman family rodeo collection, the Carbon County archives and so much more.
