MetraPark in Billings, Montana, is home to a wide range of events for adults and children alike, with a busy calendar of activities throughout the year.Coming soon, the Yellowstone RV Show between September 19th and September 22nd is the perfect opportunity to bag a bargain at the end of the season. Traders and dealers are looking to sell the entirety of their remaining stock of this year’s motor homes, so they don’t have to carry it through winter. Whether looking for motor homes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, or campers, dealers from across the Billings area come and display their wares, and many people can find the perfect deal for their family. With free admission, the Show will be open 10 am – 7 pm Thursday to Saturday, and 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday. Not long after, a unique event is coming to the MetraPark Grandstands. The Color Me Rad 5k is a run with a difference – each kilometer along the route, participants are splashed with different colored dyes, creating a stunning effect as the group moves around the track. After registration, runners are presented with the two most important rules: start the race wearing white, end the run wearing every other color. Most runners raise money for charity, but even without that background, it’s still an incredible spectacle. In a different kind of event which is always popular with crowds, between October 1st and 6th, the Wrangler Team Roping Championships will be taking place live from Billings. The WRTC unites the best team, roping competitors from across the country. They are renowned for putting on a great show and maintaining pace throughout the day. Professional, experienced commentators and announcers keep the crown engaged and have excellent knowledge of the events and sponsor products, while the competitors themselves would win huge cash pay-outs and vast sponsor product deals for performing well and beating the opposition. Those staying in one of the hotels near MetraPark in Billings MT should be sure to check out one of the activities!
