Bottles of Wine

Trevor Durling grew up in Northern California's wine country. During college, Durling took a winemaking class and realized that winemaking was the perfect way to combine a passion for science, agriculture, and cuisine. He worked at several vineyards before becoming the chief winemaker at Beaulieu Vineyard.

Kimberlee Nicholls is one of Napa Valley's most respected winemakers. Nicholls is the lead winemaker at Markham Vineyards and focuses on Markham's Merlots.

Guest chef Andy Fulton from Sodexo will prepare delightful food options. In addition, various guest chefs will present additional food options.

People in an auction

A highlight of the Wine & Food Festival is the auction. Auction items are donated to MSUB Foundation and then auctioned to the highest bidder to raise money for scholarships for students. Previous auctions have included items such as a gourmet dinner for ten with paired wines, vintage wines, heirloom furniture, and a trip to Napa Valley's most awarded vineyards.

Other auction items have included dinner with Montana State University's Chancellor, a shopping extravaganza, a diamond and sapphire necklace, and various sporting tickets and landscape paintings. The 2021 Auction list is sure to be equally enticing.
