ZooMontana is an educational facility and nursery. Eighty animals and over 56 species call the zoo home. The park is broken up into unique discovery areas that include exhibits from Asia, North America, and farm livestock. An educational facility called the Discovery Center with animal exhibits includes grizzly bears, tigers, bald eagles, wolverines, red pandas, and much more. There are also botanical gardens where native and imported plants grow. Don't forget to take home some Montana themed gifts at the gift shop! Proceeds from the gift shop go to park maintenance and fund care for the animals. The whole family can enjoy going through an interactive scavenger hunt through the park. Download a map online and find clues throughout the zoo. Then, head to the front gate to check your answers.

The zoo also hosts homeschool groups, field trips and has a special breakfast where you can dine with the zoo’s animal residents. ZooMontana offers special ticket pricing for children ages three through fifteen. In the winter, the zoo is open daily from 10 am to 2 pm.
