In addition, there are also a number of Class II and Class III rapids 13 miles down from Gardiner where the river runs through Yankee Jim Canyon.

A mere two miles east of downtown Billings, this area consists of 765 acres of undeveloped land that is also open to the public. The area includes grasslands, sagebrush and cliffs that overlook the city. If you’re looking for adventure this is the place to be.
