Are you looking for fun and excitement and plan on being in Billings in late July and early August? Now is a great time to learn about MontanaFair 2020 and all the fantastic things that you can do there. Thanks to COVID-19, many fairs and festivals across the country shut down months before time, but the state plans to host this agricultural celebration still. Not only can you check out the live entertainment planned for the week, but you can find out how to get tickets to make sure that you don't miss a second of the action.

Live Entertainment

No fair is complete without live entertainment such as concerts. When you head to Billings for this fair, you can view the entire schedule of events before you arrive and decide which shows you want to see. In addition to concerts from some of your favorite musicians and bands, you can head over to the free entertainment area. Many guests also head to MontanaFair for the events that take place on the dirt track. There's nothing like seeing the dirt fly as those drivers hit the track. You'll also have the chance to see competitive games and view the 4H kids with their animals.

Exhibitions

Do you love seeing items made from scratch? Heading over to the exhibition area is the perfect way to see the handmade goodies that people from all across the state made. Once the competitions are over, the judges award prizes to the winners and let them display their items with their ribbons. You'll see quilts, woodcrafts, and other things that the winners made. The exhibition area also features samples of the foods that challengers submitted. You might find some new ways to use the produce from Montana and find recipes to try at home.

What Do You Need to Know About MontanaFair 2020?

MontanaFair starts on Friday and runs through the week. Each exhibition has set hours and times when challengers need to appear and when the judges will look at their work. You can park in the Premium lot if you bring your car or choose one of the other parking lots that offer free tram service to the fair. The Shrine Tram is available once you arrive to help you get to the different attractions and exhibition areas. You can use the MET Transit to reach the air too, but public transportation does not run on Sunday.

Getting Tickets

Just as you can get tickets to Billings 4th of July Events online, you can buy tickets to MontanaFair 2020 online too. Tickets cost only $8 for adults and less for both children and seniors. With a ValuPass ticket, you get admission to the rodeo, motocross events, and three concerts for one low price. You also have the option of buying tickets once you arrive, which also lets you purchase tickets to some of the top rides. MontanaFair is one of the top events in Billings and the state and one that you can see this year from July 24 - August 15.
